One of my fave reality shows , Marrying the Game, is back for season 2! Two reasons that I’m excited- 1. I love how this show is ironically one of the only real “reality” shows on TV. And 2. because of Tiffney Cambridge. Tiffney and The Game have been together for a long time, but unlike other industry partners, she’s living life on her own terms and making decisions for herself and her family to provide a happy home and better future. I actually got a chance to chat with her and I think you guys are going to LOVE season 2. This season not only will you get to see what its like “marrying the Game”, but also what its like marrying Tiffney Cambridge.
Tiffney will get to showcase her skills outside of the classroom with a series of children’s books she working on. The books will follow a young child in search of her lost smile. We’ll also get a more in depth idea of who Tiffney as an individual is, and some of the other projects she’s developing.
What I love about Tiffney is that she understands that some things, as a role model, should be left unsaid. Too many women on reality shows don’t realize, or don’t care, that the young minds of America are watching and mimicking their every move. I’m glad someone actually GETS it! She’s been a teacher for 16yrs, and notices that since the show, though she’s always been a “fan favorite”, her students are slightly more engaged and willing to be on top of things in the classroom. Having a reserved quality is sometimes hard to do when your life, good and bad, is on display for the world. But she handles it quite well don’t you think?
With a public relationship comes plenty of opinions but Tiffney has that area under control. She explains that she understands the advice from friends and family is coming from a good place, so dealing with it works fine. But at the same time she knows to do what’s best for her and the betterment of her relationship. You guys think we’ll finally hear wedding bells this season?
To all of you women out there thinking of getting into a relationship with someone in the industry, Tiffney has two words- “Be Prepared”. Two snaps to THAT! One thing she feels she wasn’t  was prepared for the total package of what being with a rapper involved. Patience, endurance and acceptance are 3 things she stresses that you have to have. And I completely get that. It takes a special kind of women to deal with the schedules, the tours, the tabloids, etc. So take her advice because you will definitely need it!
Marrying the Game Season 2 premiered Aug 5th, and will be on Mondays at 9:30 ET/PT. And according to Tiffney, we can expect to see everything from her and Jayceon (The Game) resolving issues to finding their way back to the friendship they started with, and co-parenting their now older children. Seeing as how I’m told she prefers structure and The Game is moreso live and let be, this ought to be a fun ride.
*Special Note From Tiffney Cambridge:
Tiffney would like to thank all of her fans for the love, support, and warm reception.
